Kim Jolly
Grant Writer
Kimberly started in 2024 as a part-time grant writer at Fordable Fundraising. She has over 20 years of professional experience in government operations at local and state levels, legislative relations, technical writing, and compliance. Being a catalyst for change is her passion, across a variety of subject areas including education, veterans, housing and community development, trade associations, and wildlife and outdoor recreation.
A native Texan, Kimberly grew up on the Gulf Coast, earned her Master of Public Administration (MPA), and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Texas State University. She is also a Distinguished Toastmaster with Toastmasters International (DTM). Kimberly transplanted from Austin, Texas to Reno, Nevada as an ICMA Fellow, and the beauty of the Reno/Tahoe area kept her here. With her husband, two kids, and two rescue dogs, she enjoys the outdoors, concerts, and cooking.
