Vechhany Hou

Vechhany joined Fordable Fundraising in 2024 as a part-time grant writer, bringing with her over four years of specialized experience in developing grant proposals that address critical issues across immigration, education, housing, and mental health.

A proud alumna of Fresno State University, Vechhany earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, which provided her with a solid foundation in understanding societal impacts on vulnerable communities. This background fuels her passion for advocacy and social justice, guiding her professional journey in grant writing.

Outside of her professional life, Vechhany is an avid traveler and culinary enthusiast. She cherishes the opportunity to explore new places and cultures, finding joy in the simple pleasures of trying new recipes and recreating them at home.
